Kiwanis Club of Polk City's 3rd Grade Dictionary Distribution

Al Burrows and Bill Sharp, of the Kiwanis Club of Polk City, presented dictionaries to all the third graders at North Polk, Central Elementary School this afternoon. Forty-two, third graders received a dictionary from the Kiwanis Club of Polk City's 2013 distribution. We will be presenting dictionaries to all third graders at North Polk, West Elementary School tomorrow morning. We are very pleased to be able to provide these dictionaries to all third graders in the North Polk School District as one way to promote literacy among the children within our community. It is with the support of many people, contributing to our fundraising events, that allows us to conduct this kind of distribution. We appreciate the community's support and encourage members of our community who are not currently Kiwanis members to consider joining us in our volunteer efforts focusing on serving our children.
